Charlie continues to amaze
I am going to walk the dogs. Ruby is upstairs in her chambers, asleep. Charlie is downstairs near me. I put his walking collar on him and call Ruby. After 10 or so calls, the queen descends the stairs. She sees the collars and comes to my feet. She slowly wiggles her nose through the collar, basically putting it on herself. I heap a lot of praise on her for this, telling her how smart she is over and over. Charlie, now on the other side of the room, suddenly runs towards me, takes a flying leap, lands on the floor in front of me, ending up with his front paws inside my sneakers that were lying there. He is looking up wagging his tail. Tell me he is not saying: “You think Ruby is smart, can she do this? Huh? Huh?”
