Scruffy The Legend

Kallan is an amazing 8-month-old puppy. He loves to be rocked; he loves to cuddle; he likes to give kisses; he loves his toys; he loves to play with other dogs; he loves to chase cats, but only to play. LOL Kallan was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Louisiana by some most wonderful folks who believed in him. I agreed to foster him here. This shelter is very hard on dogs, but Kallan came out strong. So, he got his new name. Kallan is Scottish for Strong. Kallan deserves a loving home with lots of attention. Older children will enjoy Kallan’s desire to run and play, as will dogs who like wrestle and play. Kallan is neutered and has received all of his vaccinations and veterinary care. He weighs 30 lbs.; he is on heartworm preventive and flea/tick preventive. Kallan has very noticeable Keeshond traits, and some Aussie traits, too. He does sometimes like to round up his toys. He will need some obedience training, but he listens closely and does his best to follow commands. He is housetrained and knows to sit for his treats, which he loves very much (as most any Keeshond will tell you). Kallan is a very good watch dog, always alerting with a bark if someone or something is around the house. He does not bark for no reason, so you can trust that his bark means something. LOL Kallan is very active, as are most puppies, so he will need daily exercise–a fenced yard would be ideal, but not an absolute necessity. He is crate-trained, which is very helpful at this age!

I require adoption references and a home visit. Kallan’s adoption fee is $100, which is a bargain at today’s veterinary prices! He comes with food, toys and preventives.
