Welcoming friends from Japan: Leo and Jade.

Leo and Jade
Leo and Jade are Keeshonden living in Japan. Their mother is Yoshimi. A daily diary about the dogs can be found at http://keeleojay.blog64.fc2.com/. You can also find translated pages of Scruffy the Legend into Japanese on this website. Daily recipes for home-cooked dog food, stories about dog health, dog rescue and links to other Keeshond websites also appear. Those of you who have read my book may recall the silly chapter about dogs’ noses. I think a picture of Leo’s nose was used to illustrate some points that I was making in the book on this website. This is great stuff folks. I wish online translators really worked. If you happen to understand Japanese and love Keeshonds, you will enjoy Yoshimi’s blog (even without reading the Scruffy parts). If you don’t understand Japanese, you will still enjoy the pictures of the Keeshonden.

I am enjoying reading your blog.
I was very surprised how you could find my blog.!
I sometime use those online automatic translator but they translate English to Japanese with very funny expressions. But I can at least get images what they are trying to say.
Yes, I introduce the news about Keeshond who need help or rescue. I am just hoping that people start realizing what are really happening to dogs. I can get information via Keeshond – List on internet. And, I also introduce recipe for home-made food. I started it about 6 yrs.ago.
Anyway, I happened to know the rescued Keeshond Alvy via Youtube. And I contacted to KSRF (Keeshond Sunshine Rescue Foundation). I bought calendars that have episode of each rescued Keeshond. When I participated in KSRF’s auction, I found your book, Scruffy the legend. I attempted a few times but I thought that I would never win.
So I decided to buy your book via Amazon that I found through South California Keeshond Rescue. I donated 2 books to KSRF and I am hoping that they use them for the next auction.
I am in Japan. I know that I can not physically participate in rescuing them. I just hope that I can help as much as I can to save precious lives by somehow such as making donation, participating to raise funds etc.
My translation skill may not be perfect but I tried my best to write them down with Japanese expressions, so that they can understand. ( Sorry, I skipped some pages, such as name of cars, since they are sometimes called under the different name in Japan. I have no idea about names of cars!)
My first keeshond was female (her name was Kee). She went to the bridge in 2002 due to cancer. My second keeshond is Leo. I know, he looks like a female. The third one is Jade (male).
Well, I just wanted to thank you for introducing my blog. And also I would like to say that Scruffy the legend is the great book to read!
Sincerely,
Yoshimi
